ETMC's Breast Care Center serves as a regional resource for physicians and patients, offering state-of-the-art programs and services that include risk assessment, breast imaging, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy, a mobile mammography unit, bone-density testing, clinical trials, support services and wellness programs
Prospective Treatment Planning
The center focuses on prospective treatment planning for breast cancer patients. This means that a team of physicians, representing medical and radiation oncology, surgery, radiology and other disciplines reviews each case and structures an individualized treatment program to best meet each woman's needs.
Philosophy
The Breast Care Center's philosophy of breast health is "to provide a warm, comfortable, private location for women so that they can come in and feel free to ask questions and have some guidance through the whole process of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation."
